Myrtle Ventura’s love for Hula and Tahitian began in the summer of 2005, after experiencing her first lesson with Marilou Ubaldo Lafon. She is currently a student at Spark of Creation, participating in the Advanced Hula and Tahitian, and Tahiti Fete Production classes. This is also her first year as a teacher’s aid for beginning and intermediate Hula and Tahitian classes, ages five to seven. She sees this as an opportunity to inspire others like others have done for her, and to enhance teaching skills, for she desires to become a teacher in the near future. This will be Myrtle’s seventh year of dancing and her love for Hula and Tahitian continuously grows.
